Peanut Butter 9 Grain Crispies

. . . truly a crisp, buttery cookie.

3/4 cupROGERS NO ADDITIVE / ALL PURPOSE FLOUR175 mL
1 cupROGERS 9 GRAIN250 mL
1/4 tsp.baking soda1 mL
1 1/4 tsp.baking powder6 mL
1/2 tsp.salt2 mL
1/2 cupbutter or margarine125 mL
1/2 cuppeanut butter125 mL
3/4 cupbrown sugar175 mL
1 egg1

 

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Combine first 5 ingredients, stir well and set aside. Cream together butter and peanut butter; beat in sugar, then egg. Beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Roll small pieces of dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with a fork. Bake 10 - 12 minutes.

 

YIELD: 36 - 40 cookies.
