Jumbo Chocolate Banana Cake

2eggs, lightly beaten2
1 tsp.vanilla5 mL
3ripe bananas, mashed3
3 cupsROGERS NO ADDITIVE / ALL PURPOSE FLOUR750 mL
2 tsp.baking powder10 mL
2 tsp.baking soda10 mL
1 cupsour cream250 mL
1 tsp.cinnamon5 mL
1/2 cupbrown sugar125 mL
2 cupschocolate kisses500 mL

 

Preheat oven to 350°F ( 180°C).

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and bananas and mix until smooth.

In a medium bowl, combine ROGERS NO ADDITIVE / ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, baking powder and baking soda. Add to banana mixture alternately with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients.

Pour half the batter into a greased 13" x 9" (32.5 cm x 22.5 cm) cake pan. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle half of mixture into the cake batter. Top with 1 cup of chocolate kisses.

Pour remaining batter over top of cake mixture and repeat layer. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until cake is done.

 

YIELD: 40 squares.
