Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a large bowl, combine ROGERS LARGE FLAKE OATS, brown sugar, skim milk powder, coconut, chopped walnuts and salt.

Stir oil and vanilla together and pour over dry ingredients. Stir well. Beat egg and water together. Add to oat flake mixture and stir well. Add cherries and stir until well distributed.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
|
Bake 10 -12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven. Let stand on baking sheets for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.

YIELD:
40 -48 cookies.
