Preheat over to 350 F (180 C).
Combin flour, oat bran, large flake oats, brown sugar, bakig powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
Add dates and coconut.
Spread mixture into an un-greased baking pan. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to stand 5 minutes then cut into squares, but leave in pan to thoroughly cool. Remove from pan and serve.
