1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/4 cups ROGERS NO ADDITIVE or ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 ½ cups sour cream*
*To reduce the fat in this recipe substitute fat-free Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
Preheat oven to 350⁰F (175⁰C). Prepare a tube pan.
Mix all the filling ingredients together and set aside.
Combine butter and sugar, beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time until well mixed.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the sour cream until thoroughly mixed.
Spoon half of the batter into the tube pan, then add half the filling mixture on top. Spoon on the remainder of the batter and sprinkle on the balance of the filling on top.
Bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until done
