Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups Rogers All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
In the large bowl of a standing mixer, beat together butter, sugars, egg and vanilla extract until mixture is light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Add flour, baking soda and salt, beating to combine. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased (or parchment-lined) baking sheets. Bake in centre of oven for 8-10 minutes. If baking more than one sheet at a time, rotate halfway through cooking. Cool on wire racks.
