Ancient Grain Granola Bars

YIELD: 27 bars / PREP TIME: 15 minutes / CHILL TIME: 2 hours / Print Recipe

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine ROGERS PORRIDGE OATS & ANCIENT GRAINS, crisp rice cereal, coconut, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and dried fruit; set aside.

In a large pot, combine brown sugar, butter, and honey. Over medium heat, stir to melt butter, dissolve sugar, and combine ingredients. When mixture begins to boil, stir in dry ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.

Transfer mixture into a lightly greased 9 in x 13 in (23 cm x 33 cm) baking dish. Press mixture down with the back of a spoon or damp hands to firmly and evenly pack it into the dish.

Let cool completely, about 2 hours. Cut into bars.

Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
